A Faustian dilemma: aporia of visions regarding the role of digital technology in higher education
A number of subjects and topics addressed in these speaker sessions will be revisited – and rightly so – based on recent research findings, government positions, comments, opinions or theses. Major vectors of the situation (history and future, elitism and mass man phenomenon, the recent evolution of Quebec society, current and upcoming factors for supply and demand in higher education, light and shadow, truth and fake news, fear and confidence, fatigue and energy, apocalypse and serenity, equality and injustice, solidarity and selfishness, etc.) will be described and explored through themes such as solitude, the endless race, an illusory golden age of colleges and universities, and performance comparisons.
